Life Dalview Clinic in Brakpan is busy with the first phase of a project to refurbish all wards and general interior spaces which will create a modern, sophisticated look with a more spacious and tranquil interior. More private en-suite rooms will be constructed, the paediatric and female surgical wards will be enlarged in order to create a more spacious environment, and the existing high care unit will become a fully upgraded and equipped intensive care unit. A new entrance to the hospital premises, off Cardigan Street, will complete the first phase. Further upgrades currently in the planning stage include a new entrance block, reception, admissions and lounge areas; the upgrade of the pharmacy and the accident and emergency unit; as well as additional parking facilities.
